friendships

Every month we introduce you to two other founders we think you should know. Dinner if you’re in the same city, a call if you’re not. In between there’s the members’ Slack, for the questions you can’t really put to your own team.

places

Twice a year we take 6 to 30 founders somewhere worth the flight. One trip might be a week in a house under Table Mountain, the next a few days walking in the Dolomites. We sort the place and plan the days, you only have to get yourself there.

experiences

The things you wouldn’t organise on your own. A long dinner where the ideas keep coming until the plates are cleared, a padel afternoon, a skydive someone talked you into. We book it and get the right people in the room. You just have to say yes.

Houses worth the journey.

We pick every house ourselves, and we’re fussy about it. It has to be the kind of place where you end up at the table long after dinner, swapping what’s working and what isn’t with people who get it. A few days like that can change how you think about your own company.

THE INVITATION

It always starts at a table.

Most of the friendships between our members started at a dinner. Twelve members round one table, and we do the seating, so you’re never next to someone you already know. Bring whatever you’re stuck on right now. Chances are someone at the table has been through it and will happily tell you what they’d do.

YOUR HOSTS

Every letter is read by us.

We’re founders ourselves: Gijs runs Bloomfold and Mick runs Haloblinds. Every application lands in our inbox and one of us reads it. There’s no form that scores you and nobody in sales. If it looks like a fit, one of us gets in touch and we meet first, over a coffee or on a call, so we already know each other by the time you join.

FOUNDING MEMBERSHIP

By application only.

This is for founders who build online, have been at it a while, and want to do great things with people who understand what the job is actually like. We care more about how you think than how big your company is.

Your people. Your home base.In between, there’s the members’ Slack, and that’s where a lot of the good stuff happens. Stuck on something? Ask, and you’ll usually hear back fast from a founder who’s been through exactly that.Honest feedback on a landing page or a hire, a supplier someone can vouch for, or a quick check who’s in Lisbon the week you are. It’s a room full of people who want each other to win.ALWAYS ON
Undiscovered connectionsEvery month we put you in a Founder Circle with two other members. We do the matching ourselves, going on what you’re building and who you’d get something out of meeting.Ideally that’s a long coffee somewhere, or a walk, or a lunch that runs late. A call works too if you’re in different countries. The three of you sort out when and where, and some circles keep meeting for months.MONTHLY
Undiscovered perspectivesEvery two months we sit down with a founder or an expert who’s a few steps ahead of you. Sometimes that’s in a room together, sometimes online so nobody has to fly in.They talk for a bit, then it’s mostly questions, and because it’s only members you can ask the ones you’d normally keep to yourself. We’ll announce the speakers as we go.EVERY TWO MONTHS
Undiscovered experiencesFour times a year we get a group of members together and do something properly good. A seven-course dinner where the first half is founders trading ideas and the second half is just a great night out. A padel tournament. A skybox at a Champions League match. Hyrox, if enough of us are mad enough. It’s not tied to one city: we go wherever members happen to be, anywhere in the world.QUARTERLY
Undiscovered placesTwice a year we go on a Founder Trip. That can be anything from a few days hiking in the Dolomites to a month in Brazil, with anywhere from 6 to 30 of us.We find the place, sort the logistics and plan the days you’d never manage to book on your own, at cost, so all you have to do is show up. You come home with a handful of people you now call when something’s on your mind.TWICE A YEAR
